This policy explains what information Young Transportation & Tours collects through youngtransportation.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website and to any linked pages or forms we operate.

Information we collect.

Information you give us

Most of the information we hold is information you send us on purpose — usually when you request a quote, contact our team, or apply for a job. Depending on the form, that can include:

• Your name, company or organization, email address, and phone number
• Trip details: dates and times, pickup and drop-off locations, routes, passenger count, and whether the service is one-time or recurring
• The purpose of the trip and any special requirements, including accessibility needs or accommodations for passengers with disabilities
• Any notes, questions, or attachments you choose to include

We do not collect payment card information through our website. Deposits and payments are arranged directly with our office once your trip is confirmed. 

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours records some technical information when you visit:

• Browser type, operating system, and device information
• IP address and general geographic area
• Pages viewed, links clicked, time on page, and the site or search that referred you
• Information collected through cookies (see below)

We use this to understand how the site is used and to keep it working properly. We do not use it to identify you personally.

How we use your information.

We use the information we collect to:

• Prepare and send your quote — usually within one business day
• Plan and coordinate your transportation, including routing, scheduling, vehicle assignment, and on-site details
• Contact you about a trip you have requested or booked
• Respond to questions, requests, and service issues
• Send service updates and, if you have opted in, occasional email about Young Transportation services
• Review job applications
• Improve the website and our service, and meet our legal, safety, and regulatory obligations

How we share your information.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We share it only in these situations:

• Service providers. Companies that help us run the business and the website — for example our website host and developer, email and form platforms, and analytics providers — receive only what they need to do that work. 
• Trip partners. When your trip requires it, we share the details needed to operate the service with the partners involved, such as a partner motorcoach operator, a hotel, a venue, or a tour or destination management partner.
• Legal requirements. We disclose information when required by law, subpoena, court order, or a valid law enforcement request, and when necessary to protect the safety of passengers, employees, or the public.
• Business transfer. If Young Transportation is sold or merges with another company, customer information may transfer as part of that transaction.

Marketing email and how to unsubscribe.

If we send you a marketing email, every message includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email terry@youngtransportation.com or call (800) 622-5444 and ask to be removed. We will still contact you about a trip you have requested or booked.

Accuracy of the information you provide.

When you fill out a form on our site, you confirm the information is truthful and that you are authorized to provide it. If you submit someone else’s contact details — a passenger, a colleague, or a group leader — please make sure they are comfortable with you sharing them.

Accessing and updating your information.

You can ask us what information we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call (800) 622-5444 during office hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, or email terry@youngtransportation.com. We may need to keep certain records for trips already performed to meet our legal and safety obligations.

Cookies and website analytics.

Our site uses cookies — small files stored by your browser — to keep the site working, remember your session, and measure traffic. Session cookies hold an identification number, not personal information, and are cleared when you close your browser.

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site. It reports on things like page views, referral sources, and general audience data without identifying you personally. You can opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. 

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Some parts of the site may not work as expected if you do.

Children’s privacy.

Young Transportation serves schools, camps, and youth organizations, and we take the privacy of minors seriously. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through our website without verifiable parental consent, consistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act. Trips for student and youth groups are arranged through the school, organization, or adult group leader — not through the students themselves. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will remove it.

Security.

We use reasonable physical, technical, and administrative safeguards to protect the information we hold, and we limit access to the people who need it to do their jobs. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee the security of information sent to us online. If you would rather not send trip details through a web form, call us at (800) 622-5444 and we will take them by phone.

Links to other websites.

Our site links to other websites — partners, venues, associations, and social media. Once you leave our site, this policy no longer applies. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of any site you visit.

Changes to this policy.

We update this policy from time to time. When we do, we post the revised version on this page and change the date at the top. Please check back if you want to see what has changed.
