DONNA EDMONDS – DIRECTOR OF SALES & MARKETING
Donna Edmonds, Charter Manager, has been a part of the Management Staff at Young Transportation since 2001. Previous experience prior to joining the motor coach industry she devoted 20 years directly impacting the NC and Western North Carolina Tourism & Hospitality.
Donna’s passionate about building strong customer relationships and personal service with attention to detail. She enjoys the interaction between all the diverse groups we serve in our industry – athletic, conventions, specialty groups, meeting planners, senior adult programs, Student educational. She finds great pleasure in getting out and meeting as many folks in person as possible, learning about their needs, being on site with the event or cheering on her favorite team’s.
Born in SC, she’s lived in Asheville most of her life and has two daughter’s. She enjoys her church, family and friends. A day outside enjoying some local North Carolina adventure is a great day!
MELISSA ROSENBALM – CHARTER SALES
Melissa spent 10 years in the hotel industry before joining the Young team in February 2003. Her duties include Charter Sales and handling social media for the company. She won the Asheville Chamber of Commerce Customer Service award and the company wide Customer Service award.
She is actively involved with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and the Brain Aneurysm Foundation.
Her hobbies include target shooting, fantasy sports and reading. She is an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. Melissa has been married to her husband, Marc for 17 years and has two cats, Nola and Reno.
TERRY ERICKSON – CHARTER DEPARTMENT
Terry works in our Charter Department. She details the charters, giving our drivers as much information as she can to give our customers the best trip possible!
In her spare time, she loves to be outdoors working in her garden & loves any hike that ends with a waterfall. Her son attends Appalachian State University, where he spends his free time snowboarding. Her son and her love road trips and look forward to hitting the road as much as possible!
ANNA GREENWAY – ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Anna is a graduate of Western Carolina University. She worked for Dover Textiles for 20 years before moving to Asheville. She was in the hospitality industry for over 17 years which was a perfect transition into the transportation industry. She joined Young in 2005.
She has two daughters, Dana and Shannon as well as three grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Her hobbies include reading, crafts, and shopping.
SUSAN ANDERSON – DIRECTOR OF TOUR & TRAVEL
Susan has grown up in the motorcoach industry. From an early age when her parents owned a motorcoach company, she was involved in customer mailings, cleaning coaches and anything else she was allowed to help with. As an adult , he began working full time in the family business and learned all aspects of what is involved in operating a successful motorcoach company but her true passion was for the tour department.
Susan has been planning student and adult tours throughout the United States and Canada since 1993 and enjoys working with groups to make their experience unique and memorable. Her dedication to the motorcoach tour industry is seen by her peers as well as her customers. She has been asked to speak at numerous industry conferences and has served on the Education Committee for the American Bus Association. Susan has also been recognized for her commitment to the motorcoach tour industry with seven NC Motorcoach Operator of the Year awards.
Along with her husband of 24 years, Jeff, they have two children. Their son Andrew is proudly serving in the United States Navy and daughter Katie is involved in Basketball and Track in High School. They also have two fur babies, Reagan and Comet. Susan has served as the Children’s Director at Newbridge Baptist Church since 2008 and loves spending time with her family, friends and traveling to any tropical location!
REBECCA CALDWELL – TOUR AND TRAVEL SALES
Rebecca has been at Young for six years. As a retired teacher of 36 years s, e spent the last 18 of her years at Canton Middle School in Haywood County as a middle school band director. At CMS she regularly traveled with her students to various large cities so this was a great transition to the Tour Industry.
Rebecca is married to Ralph Caldwell who also is very involved at Young Transportation as a guide and liaison for groups traveling throughout the area.
They are the proud parents of two boys and two “very special daughter-in-laws”.
In addition to working at Young Transportation, Rebecca is the Chancel Choir, Children’s Choir and Handbell Choir Director at Canton Central United Methodist Church.
Rebecca has a Bachelors and Masters degree of Music Education from Western Carolina University.
Hobbies include walking, running, exercising . She is an avid Alabama, UNC- Chapel Hill and Michigan sports fan and loves her pups “Bama” and “Max”.
